    • Hello, my name is Rudy Carmona, I am the proud owner of Carmona’s Collision Repair in Fullerton. I would like to take a minute to get to know you or you to get to know me a little better and tell you about myself.

      If you have seen my office or been in my office, you know that I’m a football nut. There is football all over my office. I coached youth football for about eight years with my son and I have followed him thru high school and into college watching him play.

      My hearts desire is to one day coach high school football, which I’ve never done before, but I would really love to do that one day in the future.

      I have a beautiful wife, Tina and two kids, Camron and Rashell, I’m a proud new grandfather of baby Jagger Carmona. Working here at Carmona’s Collision is a pleasure.

      I love to work with my family, the business has taken care of my family for three generations and it is very rewarding. It is rewarding to put a car back together and see someone smile. They’re all bummed when it first got here but they leave here saying the car looks so great.

    • Hello, today we are going to talk about estimating. We will take all the detailed information of the car and of you, the customer, and we will start the estimating process right here; and the problem with most estimating; if the car is not inspected thoroughly something might be missed and we don’t want that to happen and we want to repair your car the right way the first time.

      So, we will put the car in the air and we will gauge it for frame damage, we will look underneath if you happen to run something over to make sure the things you can’t see aren’t missed. So, obviously we will put the car down on the ground and we will also thoroughly inspect the car on top so that we write a complete and thorough estimate.

      Most estimates in a computer system or computer software writing system are going to range from shop to shop within $50. to a couple $100. of each other depending on some of the things you might add on as an estimator.

      We are very well aware of that and if you happen to be paying out of pocket, we will be sure to cut those things off that you don’t want to pay extra for. So we are very experienced at estimate writing and we will do a great and thorough job writing estimate. We’re trained and certified with the Mitchell estimating software.

    • Hello, today we are going to talk about frame straightening. Here behind me you see a “Car-O-Linner” frame straightening machine that’s from Sweden. It’s really one of the top of the line pieces of equipment for frame straightening in the market it has a mechanical measuring system.

      This is a data sheet that gives you the points on the car that up to a three milometer specification. That’s OEM original specification from where the car is built at the factory. This will pinpoint each spot on the car from the front, the back the sides, the top and the bottom to each point on the car like a bolt hole within three milometers

      This equipment is very precise it is very high quality and it’s a great and very easy machine to use. Our technicians are certified in frame straightening and we do excellent and quality frame straightening repairs here at Carmona’s Collision Repair.

    • Hello, today I would like to talk to you about fleet services offered here at Carmona’s Collision Repair. We do many company’s fleet servicing. There is definitely a discount in volume, some of the companies we do work for are Motive Energy, Pave Kote and some other bigger companies that have multiple vehicles. We can offer full mechanical repairs in those fleet repairs as well as collision repair. We also do work for Voyager, Pro Fleet, Wright Express and Fleet One, which are national fleet services for companies that are huge. So here at Carmona’s we do offer fleet service and repair and we’d love to take care of your fleet for you.

    • Hello, today I’m standing in the detail department. This is a really big truck, it’s a crew-cab dulley; and what we are doing for this customer is a complete detail, shampoo dressing for the leather, wax, we are cleaning the engine, armoral from bumper to bumper a new car prep detail. Here at Carmona’s Collision we do offer that service, complete details for cars. But another thing that we do here is for every single car that we work on we do a free car wash that is very extensive; that includes cleaning the car thoroughly on the inside, dressing the tires and making it look like you just drove it through the car wash. So Here at Carmona’s we offer complete details and we wash every car we work on.

    • Hello, today we are going to talk about spraying in a spray booth. Here behind me you see that we painted the roof of this vehicle here. What I’m standing in is a conventional cross-flow spray booth. A lot of people believe that today to get a real quality paint job you have to have a modern down-draft spray booth. Doing this many many years and being in the industry since I grew up as a kid, I know that just as high quality paint can be put out of this booth as a modern $50,000 to $100,000 spray booth.

      The key to clean paint and doing it right is how the painter preps the car and preps him self in coming into the booth to make the environment sterile. Actually bagging the car and how you bag the car is important to how clean the paint job comes out. So, here at Carmona’s Collision Repair we’ve tried to cut the cost to give you the best deal we possibly can, we have not bought a $50,000 to $100,000 spray booth, but we still put out the highest quality paint jobs here out of this booth. You can see the proof is in the paint that we do.

    • Hello, today we are going to talk about going green or being green in the body shop. What you see here is a gun-washer. This gun-washer besides thoroughly cleaning the spray guns; it contains all the chemicals that are used to clean that gun without emitting them into the atmosphere. Besides having to use this gun-washer by law, it’s also good for the ozone and the environment.

      We also use water-based colors that are good for the environment and required by law, so the waste that doesn’t get on your car that’s left over and every body shop is going to produce it. It’s collected and recycled by an outside company that comes in and takes all our waste away. So here at Carmona’s Collision Repair we are very environmentally minded and we are a Green Company.

    • Hello, today we are going to talk about paint mixing. What I have here is a formula retrieval software that comes from a company called Yada. What people don’t know about automotive repairing, painting and manufacturing is that cars are built all over the country and they are built out of the country. Each factory collects paint formulas from all these places that the cars are built and the same color car can have multiple formulas and multiple shades of that color.

      What this computerized system does is breaks it down by VIN number where the car was built and which formula they used at that factory to paint that car. Here on my right we have our mix-bank system where we take the formula from this computer and we mix all our colors.

      Our guys are certified trained technicians in this system and we do match our own colors. One thing we do with every repair is we guarantee the color match. One of the most important things I believe in all my years in the business is color matching. If the color doesn’t match; the customer is not happy, so we pride ourselves in guaranteeing that you are going to get the best expert color match.

    • Today at Carmona’s Collision Repair we are going to talk about mechanical repairs. On a heavy front end collision like the one you see behind you a water pump needed to be replaced along with the radiator, condenser, the fan, the shroud, and a lot of mechanical parts in the car and belts. This is all part of collision repair and we do a full line and service of mechanical repairs here at Carmona’s Collision. Cars that are hit differently in the suspension, we also repair suspension damages. So anything mechanical that you might need done to your car; we do it here at Carmona’s Collision Repair.
